Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

A group of immigration streams under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) run by the province of Saskatchewan, is known as the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker.

A group of immigration streams under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) run by the province of Saskatchewan, is known as the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker. The Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker Program consists of three immigration streams that are aimed at foreign nationals with professional job experience who also fit Saskatchewan’s specific needs and qualifications.

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker includes the following streams:

Saskatchewan Express Entry

Targeting foreign workers with active profiles in Canada’s Express Entry system, Saskatchewan Express Entry is a stream of Saskatchewan International Skilled Workers. The applicant must have at least one year of experience in a NOC level “A,” “B,” or “0” occupation to be eligible for this stream. If the experience was gained while working in one of the professions on the SINP Excluded Occupations List, it will not be considered eligible. Also required is a minimum SINP Points Assessment Grid score of 60 for the candidate.

Saskatchewan Employment Offer

A section of Saskatchewan International Skilled Workers called Saskatchewan Employment Offers targets international workers who have legitimate job offers from Saskatchewan firms. The candidate must have the necessary work experience and receive at least 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid in order to be considered.

Saskatchewan Occupations On-Demand

A branch of Saskatchewan International Skilled Workers called Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand seeks out international workers with experience in particular occupations. The applicant must have at least a year of experience in a NOC level “A,” “B,” or “0” occupation to be eligible. If the occupation is on the SINP Excluded Occupations List, it will not be eligible. A minimum of 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid must also be claimed by the applicant.

Saskatchewan Points Assessment Grid

A 100-point scale is used for the SINP Points Assessment Grid. For all of the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker programs, a candidate must receive at least 60 points. Please be aware that applicants for the SINP will need to include supporting documents to show they have met the 60-point criterion.
